Best Vimeo Staff Picks of decade

Vimeo Staff Picks Part One

Here are 10 videos which represent in my opinion the best of the videos selected by the « Staff Picks » since the last ten years. Real little masterpieces that shine by their originality and the quality of their realization.

Vimeo allows amateur and pro filmmakers to broadcast their works online since 2004. And since then, there are countless little jewels that have been published there. That’s why the « Staff Pick » was created about ten years ago. The goal was clearly to highlight the best of what was happening before their eyes. Here is a selection (very personal) of the best videos selected by the « Staff Picks » since its inception.

I have gathered here 10 videos that have marked the history of Vimeo but I could have put much more. 10 it’s a good number, it’s digest. And if you like it, I’ll do a sequel soon with 10 other videos (that I already put aside). Enjoy!

« The world is fascinating. People and cultures inspire us. Sadly, the fast paced lifestyles of our generation result in many not taking the necessary step back to soak in the existing world around us. Our goal with this film is to help viewers further appreciate and take notice of the beauty in life & culture that lies within our world… so the next time you notice something that strikes you as interesting, stop for a second, start powering on your camera, think about why it’s unique, and snap the shot before you miss it. Life is extraordinary. Embrace it. »
